Environment awareness remind us to protect, restore and enhance environmental quality towards good public health, environmental integrity and economic viability.

This year's celebration aims to raise awareness on how air pollution is destroying not just the environment but also the health of the public. The health effects of air pollution are serious, it's high time for everyone to work us one and strengthen our efforts to address it. Air pollution problem is hard to escape, we can't stop breathing, but we can do something to ensure we breath clean and healthy air.

Programs focusing on clean air, clean water and solid waste management in coordination with stakeholders, partner government agencies and local government units are the priority of the Environment Awareness Month.

For it's vision–A nation empowered to protect our finite natural resources, attuned to the pursuit of sustainable development, for a clean and healthy environment that enhances the Filipino Quality of life for present and future generations.

Children, our hope

With the theme, “Karapatang Pambata: Patuloy na Pahalagahan at Gampanan tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan,” this year’s celebration of the National Children's Month is made extra special as it coincides with the 30th Anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN CRC).

National Children's month aims to celebrate and recognize children as the most valuable assets of the nation as well as to emphasize the importance of their role within the Filipino family and Philippine society. To intensify public awareness on the rights of children and remind all sectors to be responsible in raising Filipino children to become well-rounded people, and to protect them at all costs, as enshrined in the UN CRC.

Empowering children as rights-holders and duty-bearers to deliver commitment to promote, protect, and fulfill their rights as children.

Filipino Values

The Filipino Values Month aims to mobilize all Filipinos for nation building through the practical exercise of human values in our daily lives as citizens and to awaken all to the power of these values in achieving the individual and national goals.

For this year, the theme of the Filipino Values Month celebration is “Pamilyang Pilipino Patatagin: Susi sa Paghubog ng Kabataang Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakakalikasan at Makabansa” which emphasizes the importance and critical role of the family in strengthening Filipino values and developing individuals who are pro-God, pro-people, pro-country, and pro-nature especially in this digital age.

Simple yet meaningful activities promoting Filipino values. Said activities must not be limited to having contests or competitions, exhibits of talents and innovations on creative arts, symposia or seminars, film showing or stage play on current issues related to the theme, but also incorporating values in lessons in all learning areas as we aspire to develop, manifest and advocate core Filipino values of Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakakalikasan at Makabansa.

Promoting Filipino values all year round to the best interest of all especially the young generation.

Our Planet, our Future

     Our planet is aging and we are slowly killing it. With the UN day 2019 celebration with the theme of " Our Planet. Our Future" we must take now an immediate action to save our planet, our home.

Each year, the global network of UN Information Centres organizes a variety of events to mark UN Day. Activities range from ceremonies, seminars, panel discussions, symposiums to series of briefings for students, art competitions, rallies, film screenings and book/photo exhibitions, media campaigns- including interviews and newspaper supplements- and social media campaigns. 

     Together let's save our future. Together let us take care of our mother Earth.

All about 2nd Quarter

 For this quarter, I really have enjoyed, particularly in making those exercises about html. In the first quarter we already learned how to make a proper blog so I don't have a hard time blogging. There are no big problem encounter, just some some assistance in making the other exercises but with our teacher providing all the instructions, it goes well. Just a little difficulty in making our project but overall, I really have a great time this quarter.

You and our Brighter Future

This month of October, year 2019 we celebrate our dear teacher's day. It is to acknowledge their hard works and sacrifices for students, for their chosen profession. Students spend most of their time at school, it also goes the same for our dear teachers. Moreover, they took overtime just to finished their undone works or take it at home, one reason, why some of our dear teacher's kids got jealous because of lack attentions. That's a sad part for our busy teachers but because they chose to teach, it's their passion, they still continue to teach and share knowledge to the students.

Teachers is one of the future builders of every students. We need our dear teachers to reach our dreams, for us to be successful. Let us give importance to them, let's salute our dear heroes.

Play sport

Intrams, as we like to call it, is a two-day event focused on sports like volleyball, table tennis, badminton, dance and chess. Last September 12-13 of this year 2019, Ilocos Sur National High School held their school's intramurals. 

To start the Intramurals all players, coaches, school staffs and students gathered at the gymnasium for the opening and as the proud player of the said school lit up the torch. During the two-day intrams, booths made by different clubs are also present. Including marriage and message booth from the SSG and other booth from the different clubs. 

Intramurals are designed for everyone to have fun but still have a competitive edge. Players must perform sportmanship and have self discipline as the school principal mention in his message.
